Georgia is officially 1 1/2 years old!! Courtesy of a recent doctor's visit, she is 27 pounds. She has had a word explosion in the past few weeks. Here are her latest statements: bee-bee (big bird), all done, all wet (after she splashes me in the bath), pee-pee (while watching Miles use the potty), Elmo, Minnie Mow (Minnie Mouse), Mama, Dada, Nana, MiMi, coffee, fooball (football), Bobo (Miles' lovey which she has claimed for herself), Papa (when she looks at Dad's picture), Gampa, Leeeza (Alissa), up, down, baba (bottle), bye, and hi. She still doesn't like to tell you the name of animals, but rather their sound. Doggies are "ruff ruff ruff ruff". She pats her diaper when she needs a diaper change and screams bloody murder when Miles takes away one of her toys. She has no fear. She loves shoes. She carries them around and puts on any shoes she finds (especially Miles'). She particularly loves boots and if they are fuzzy on the inside, even better. She's wearing a size 5 1/2 shoe and 18-24 months clothes. Her hair is past her shoulders, but you would never know because of the curls. She's down to one nap a day and always in bed by 6:30. She will do anything and everything that Miles does. She gives real kisses now and still pats you on the back when she gives you a hug. She picks up toy doggies and kitties, pets their back, and says, "Ahhhhhh." She's a real girly girl, but loves to get dirty and play rough. She has started having tantrums and throws herself on the ground with arms and legs flailing. If she happens to be wearing a hat, she'll rip it off her head and throw it to the ground. She's had several time outs. :) She keeps us on our toes, that's for sure!! But we love her anyway.
