We had a successful doctor appointment today. Miles is measuring at 39 3/4 inches (89%) and 40 lbs 2 oz (97%). He got to stand on the big boy scale, be measured while standing up, and had his blood pressure taken. He was SO GOOD throughout the entire process. We told him the blood pressure machine was giving his arm a big hug. He answered color questions correctly (phew) and jumped super high. He said please and thank you without prompting when Dr. Evans gave him a new book. Then sat right down and began to read. She was impressed. She also filled out his preschool paperwork, so he is all set to go to school (with the minor exception of needing to be potty trained).
Georgia, well, Georgia screamed the whole time. She missed her morning nap, so was super grouchy. Plus it was a stranger touching her and we all know how much she likes that. She is measuring at 22.4 lbs (93%) and 30 inches (99%). Her new top tooth has retracted, so you can't see it anymore. Dr. Evans said that was normal!!
Georgia didn't need any shots, but Miles needed a booster and TB test (since I test positive to the shot myself). He was very brave and got a Toy Story sticker and lollipop. We also ran into his girlfriend Maya while at Kaiser which was an added bonus. We'll go back on Wednesday to check the TB test, but then Miles doesn't go back until he's 4 and Georgia after her first birthday!
