ALL ABOARD!!

Miles' party was a HUGE success. Jeanne and Hutch drove down from Oregon to help Miles celebrate. We had over 50 people in our house at one time, which was insane, but oh so much fun. Miles' big birthday present from us *finally* arrived late on Friday night. I frantically sent Peter to the store at 9:30pm to pick it up. Miles could hardly contain himself...he literally jumped from 10:00am-4:00pm, only stopping for juice, a game, and cake. Let's just say he literally passed out when it was time for bed. :) Miles was so excited to start the party. He was standing at the window saying, "Where are my friends?" The kids played with all the toys and most of them were in the bouncy house. Cocktails were flowing, conversation going, and lots of laughter. Pizza was a big hit and the kids were chomping at the bit to get to the cupcakes. After lunch, the kids gathered around to play "Pin the 3 on the Caboose". I wasn't sure how they would react to being blindfolded, but they totally didn't care and loved the game. We had a tie...Claire and Jack! They each got at Sees sucker. After the game we gathered around the table for cake. Miles seemed a bit overwhelmed, but cheered the loudest when he blew out his candle. The cake and cupcakes disappeared...quickly. Georgia hung out a lot with Nana, but did play with some of her friends Jake and Brendan. She tends to love the boys and always tries to kiss them (and then makes them cry). After everyone left, Miles opened his presents and got great stuff! Then....back to the bouncy house! Even Georgia joined in on the fun. At the end of the day, everyone had such a fantastic time. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!!

One of the party favors: homemade cookies.

Train whistles are the other train favor.

My decorations.

The game.

I made a cupcake train with mini oreos, oreo stix, and graham crackers. The jumbo cupcake is for Miles.

The adult cake. :)

Always a Mama's boy.

And of course, Nana's best boy.

Miles went first with the game.

Happy birthday, Miles!!

Hooray...I blew it out!

Miles' special cupcake.

Georgia trying so hard to crawl to Brendan.

The loot.

A Grandpa's girl!

So much fun in the bouncy house!

Georgia had a ball!

Giving G a big kiss. So sweet.

She is quite pleased with herself here.
