Georgia's Real Birthday Celebration

Georgia's birthday fell on the last day of school.....just like the day she was born! We celebrated once I got home. We popped the bubbly (obviously), got out some snacks, and let the present opening begin! Georgia was very excited when she saw all the presents and squealed, "Are these presents....for me????" It was so cute. But when the actual opening started she got nervous about the surprises inside and didn't want any part of it. Of course Miles was more that eager to help her. Georgia finally warmed up to her new Dora and Ariel doll and then really had no interest in anything else. Wish I had known! I would have stopped there! ;-) Her big present (an enormous doll house) arrived a few days late, but that quickly became a favorite, too. After presents we had pasta dinner with "meaps" and broccoli. Of course cupcakes followed! Brown cupcake with white frosting for Georgia.....as requested! Happy birthday baby girl!!

Nana gave Georgia this creepy bug pop out book. It's supposed to go with her rolly polly catcher (which Georgia loves to hold). The spider page is especially disturbing. Miles thought it was hysterical. Georgia, not so much.

This is Georgia's reaction to the bug book.

Brown cupcake with brown frosting for Miles.
