Christmas was a fantastic affair. The kids left out cookies (although Georgia couldn't stop eating them) and headed to bed. Santa Claus came in BIG and left tons of presents. I think Grandma and Grandpa were a little overwhelmed. Peter and I woke up an hour before everyone else and drank coffee while we waited. Georgia was the first to get up and was totally overwhelmed. She wouldn't go near anything, but when we got out the Cinderella doll and carriage she quickly figured out these were HER toys and she immediately snapped out of her funk. We ended up waking Miles so he wouldn't miss out. He could hardly contain himself. He came running down the stairs and made a bee-line to Jingle the Dog. He would have opened every single present right then and there if we hadn't slowed him down. After we opened up the stockings and a few presents, we sat down for our traditional egg casserole breakfast and mimosas. Back to the presents!! Miles opened him as quickly as possible while Georgia took her time and enjoyed each new item. Miles got frustrated and said he would help her by opening her gifts for her. Haha! Surprisingly she didn't mind! It took us about 6 hours to open presents. We finished the evening with a great ham dinner lots of wine and good company. It was a wonderful Christmas!
Georgia being shy.
Georgia was pouring Grandpa a cup of tea.
Georgia loves my make-up, so she got her own set. Here's she's making herself pretty.
Miles got the spiderman costume he wanted so bad!
Mom and I took this picture first. She didn't like her double chin so we did it again.
This time she tried to elongate her neck, but ended up looking like a giraffe!!
We thought that was pretty funny.
