Pilgrims and Native Americans

Miles' class had a Thanksgiving feast with all the classics: a full turkey, corn bread, popcorn, fruit, and pie! They all made Native American vests (I cut all 32 out!) and head pieces, and Pilgrim hats. They had to choose what they wanted to be for the actual feast. Miles decided to be a pilgrim so wore black and white. Nana and Georgia attended the feast and helped out since I had to work. Peter was able to go, too, and was put in charge of cutting the turkey! The kids did a really cute Native American dance which Peter recorded. I wish I could have been there, but at least someone from the family got to attend!

Of course the costumes are getting their fair share or wear around here!
