Now that Georgia has been walking for a while, she has gotten fast. Almost borderline running. This also works up her appetite. She eats anything and everything. She's not afraid to try new things and usually wants whatever you are eating. She still only has 8 teeth, but she can gum food like no other. She loves vegetables and especially peas and brocolli. Her favorite breakfast is eggs, lunch is bagel and cream cheese, and dinner macaroni and cheese. Throw in some nectarines, yogurt, and veggies and you have a very healthy eater. :) Lately she's been walking around with her hands behind her back, like an old man. It's so funny. She also likes to take Miles' toys and run away with them. She pretends that she's giving them back, but then snatches it away at the last second and runs. Miles hates this game. She loves to play peek-a-boo with her bathtime towel. She is trying really hard to say cracker and it sounds kind of like cacka. When you ask her what a crow says she answers, "Caw caw!" She still loves her dollies and is usually carrying one around at all times. She has become obsessed with her paci and lovey. She also must have 2 of everything....one for each hand.
Miles seems to be getting taller every day. He is obsessed with dinosaurs after our adventure to Lawrence Hall of Science. He has one dinosaur book that makes sounds and he has memorized the names of the dinos: the anatotitan, the parasorolopus, the leptosaurus...it amazes me that he can recite the names. I always have to look at the answer in the back. Such a smarty! But he still hasn't pooped in the potty. Sigh. He's on a food strike and will only eat certain things: o's and milk, cereal bars, goldfish, pretzels, ham sandwiches, and chicken nuggets. Oh and of course cookies and ice cream in a bowl with sprinkles. ;-) I don't know how he weighs 42 pounds!
Happy at 13 months!
Now she sees the camera and immediately wants to sit in the chair and pose. This time it was with her babies.
This was taken the day after the most horrible stomach flu entered our house. Blah.
