4th of July

Fourth of July was a super hot day! We headed to the parade in downtown Pleasant Hill, making a pit stop at Starbucks first. The kids were totally decked out in their stars and stripes. :) We met Noah and Jake for the parade. We had a little patch of shade which made watching the parade quite pleasant! Afterwards we had a few friends over for a BBQ and to watch the fireworks. We can see fireworks from the front of our house and then from the back of our house. The ones at the country club literally go right above our backyard. It's awesome!!

These next shots are simply awesome. The kids started running and leaping into the pool. They were airborne and doing belly flops! It was hilarious! I got to use my sports setting for the first time on my camera.
