It's official! Miles joined the swim team! He had to do try outs which was more complicated than I thought it would be for 6 and unders! He had to get into the pool by himself and demonstrate the ability to swim. The coach took notes and commented on nice side breathing and kicks. After swimming 25 yards, he had to show backstroke, which he also did just fine. He couldn't remember breaststroke, but that was okay. The coach gave him the thumbs up! He was really excited. Practices start end of April!
Of course Georgia immediately wanted to join the team, too. She wore her goggles home and then again in the bathtub. She told me she was practicing so she could be a dolfin, too.
